I am a big fan of Michael Herkes’ content and witchy things so I was eager to dig into this one. I wanted this to have a whimsical and ethereal feel so we collaborated with the talented Barbara Malagoli. Her illustrated humans are so diverse and color palette is bold and unique; I knew her illustrations would do Michael’s content justice. I hand-lettered the title on this one and created patterns for the interior from Barbara’s art. I also created a design for the interior pages where spells are located so the user can find what they need easily via color.
